It was a fabulous, special hotel with welcoming staff. The breakfast was perfect for money, included cereal and yoghourt. The service was welcoming, nothing too much trouble.

We had a perfectly pleasant stay here, everything was very good. Good sleep in a comfortable bed, bright and beautiful room. The hotel itself was in a local area, really close to the city walls and the centre of York.

The staff were best and the location was brilliant. The room was luxury and bright, loved it. The vegetarian breakfast was hearty, plenty of options. A short walk to a theatre and city walls. Moreover, a historical place museum was 15 minutes' walk away. Friendly reception.

The decor was perfect, staff was unobtrusive, and the place was fairly clean. I got plentiful breakfast with cereal, fresh fruit. Cosy location, relatively near clifford's tower. Nothing too much trouble, I had a fab stay.

Bed is comfy, location is marvellous! We had views of the city. After the arrival, we met owner, who was friendly. Besides, we had free WiFi. Holiday base for exploring York.

Lovely interior and large rooms. It's around 4-6 minutes walk from The Postern Gate, good for a little drink. Also, it had parking onsite.
